What is Ruta?
Ruta is a Ukrainian POS/ERP for shops, cafés and venues. The till fiscalises receipts through Checkbox — a PRRO, Ukraine's software cash register — and keeps working offline, while stock, recipe cards and cost live in the same system. It comes as eight ready-made solutions, one per kind of business.
Does the till work without internet?
Yes. The terminal runs on a local database, so a sale and its receipt don't wait for the network. Receipts queue and sync when the connection is back — a receipt still prints during a blackout.
Which PRRO does Ruta support?
Checkbox. The fiscal number, QR code and per-rate VAT print on the receipt. Receipts that didn't go through are retried automatically, and problem receipts get their own screen.
